This project was created as an exploration of the use of light as a medium in sculpture. It was made in collaboration with Heather Ahn. We took inspiration from caves, specifically caverns filled with stalactites and stalagmites, as well as movie scenes which bend our perception of reality, such as Doctor Stange or Inception. It was made using foam board, drawing paper, tissue paper, hot glue, two LED light strings, and a clip-on reading light.
